Jeffrey Dahmer

Jeffrey Dahmer Death Knowledge Base

Any Information on Jeffrey Dahmer? Hey im doing a National History Day project on Jeffrey Dahmer and i need some really helpful sights. One thing i need today is that some internal policies were changed because of Dahmer's death at the Columbia Correctional Institution and i need to know exactly what was changed. So if you have any sights that would be soooo helpful!!
Are there any instances that you would TOTALLY be FOR the death penalty? 1. Serial Killers - Jeffrey Dahmer? 2. Cop killers? 3. Serial Rapists? 4. Serial child molesters and rapists? 5. Terrorists? I do not support the death penalty unless the person is guilty of the above without a shadow of a doubt. It scares me that we kill innocent men and women. I AM in favor of the Death Penalty IF they are guilty with overwelming evidence. Dickn2000 - I am NOT a liberal. I am as conservative as you can get. My dad was a cop and I think we are sometimes TOO SOFT on crime but...I do not want to kill "innocent" people.
about jeffrey dahmer? it is known fact that dahmer became a born again christian before his death. assuming he truly repented for his sins, then he most certainly is in heaven right now. do you think he ever bumps into any of the people he killed up in heaven? do you imagine it's awkward for him? do you think anyone ever comes up to him and is like, "hey, weren't you the guy that killed me. wanna be friends? i'd shake your hand but you ate my right arm."
WHAT DO YOU THINK? Did Jeffrey Dahmer go to HEAVEN or HELL? He made a religious transformation in Prison ..... before getting beaten to death by fellow inmate Scarver. Do you think someone of his caliber can do such rotten things, repent and get to Heaven? Wouldn't you have to agree though, that out of all the borderline Heaven-bound people in the world, he would probably have the least chance of getting there out of all of them? Don't you consider him along the lines of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Caligula, Ivan the Terrible, Henry Lucas, Charles Manson etc..?
jeffrey dahmer said he found god? in an interview he gave before he was beaten to death by another inmate. if he truly repented for his sins(which i think he did) why do some people think he deserved what he got ? imean yea he killed many men &did some twisted things but in the end god forgives if you pray for it.
Do you agree with the death penalty? I am for the death penalty! People like Jeffrey Dahmer and other heinous murderers who will never be of value to society, should be put to death to protect the rest of us. If I had my way, rapists would be put to death too. That is a crime that does not have strong enough sentences. The death penalty definitely discourages crime! It also saves our country millions of dollars that we would be spending on housing and feeding the prisoner not to mention all the money the government spends on the free medical care that this country provides to all prisoners.
Are Your For Or Against The Death Penalty? I am torn on this... i don't believe in treating murder with murder because that seems hypocritical to me. Killing one person is serious enough, but when you kill more than 20, 30, or 40 people like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Wayne Gacy should people like that still be alive?
Europe and the Death Penalty? I understand that many European countries do not have the death penalty, and was abolished at some point in many places in Europe. After reading answers from another question related to this, I saw people saying how the US was barbaric for letting it still be legal here. Do you as a European agree with that? So my question; if someone murdered your husband, wife, brother, sister, friend, family, etc..... would you want to see them pay for the crime with their own life? I sure as hell would! Why would I want to pay taxes for miserable wastes of life to live the rest of their life in a prison cell, when they could just end it for them, and give people closure for what they've done? It's sort of an eye for an eye way of looking at it I guess. I could care less if it's "inhumane" to execute someone who murdered or raped the child down the street. I think people who commit those sorts of crimes deserve to die, and a painful death at that. It's too bad that our death penalty is so "comfortable." Most states use the lethal injection, so they basically fall asleep and die. The electric chair is only available in 4 states, but when it's used (rarely ever), the person being executed usually can choose between that and the lethal injection. Judging by many European countries punishments for inhumane crimes, it makes them look as if things like murder are not considered that big of a deal, when they only get 10-15 years in prison for it. If you are from Europe, and live in a country that has abolished the death penalty, do you agree with the outlawing of it? Why or why not? I'm from Wisconsin. When I was younger, there was a serial killer named Jeffrey Dahmer here. He did things involving rape, torture, dismemberment, necrophilia and cannibalism, all of which ended in murders. Wisconsin does NOT have the death penalty option, so he was sent to prison to live the rest of his life. Shortly after his arrival, another inmate killed him for the things he had done to people. The prison guards were said to have let it happen. Thoughts anyone? Be as honest as you want, everyone has their own opinion on these things, I'm just trying to see peoples views on this. Yes, I know every country in Europe treats these things differently, but just asking as a general view of it. YES, MISTAKES DO HAPPEN WITH THE PENALTY. what about giving the person 5-7 years to live in prison, durring that time the prisoner can make appeals, and they can do as much DNA testing as they want to make absolutely sure before they kill them? That seems fair to me. Greg H: Most of the people who commit those types of horrible crimes are not "fixable" people. Most of them will end up being repeat offenders, and life long criminals who serve no good to society. If killing them is the easy way out for them, so be it, I'm ok with that. At least then they won't be living off of my pocketbook with 3 square meals a day, tv, a bed, heat, a weight room, gym, a library, etc...
how does "Hate the sin, love the sinner" rhyme with the death penalty? Hate the sin, love the sinner. That Christian sentence always amuses me a little bit. For some reason I usually see it in answers on questions about homosexuality: "hate the homosexual acts, love the gay person". It seems to be a Christian concept that is always valid, because all sins are alike. Or? I never see: -hate the raping of small children, love the pedophile -hate the genocide, love Hitler -hate the serial-killing, love Jeffrey Dahmer So, uh, where does "love the sinner" end exactly? Because most Christians also seem to support the death penalty.
What do you think of this article? 'Creation Science' Makes a Difference Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer murdered at least 17 men and boys. His murders included gruesome acts and he was sentenced to a lifetime in prison. But during his sentence something changed, and before his death, Dahmer went on MSNBC with his father. When asked what contributed to his new accountability, he told his father, "Thanks to you for sending that creation science material." In the interview Dahmer acknowledges that he once believed in the evolution theory which "cheapens life". He went on to testify to the Lord Jesus Christ being the true Creator and accepting Him as his Savior. Watch the interview. Like Dahmer, many today are being influenced by the cheapening of life promoted by the evolution theory. Racism, communism, nazism and anarchy are all affects of this dangerous theory. Even the killers in the Columbine school massacre wore shirts that blared, "Natural Selection". and why do you feel that way?
Do you believe in The Death Penalty? I know I do! I mean,if we are talking about somebody like,Charles Manson,or Jeffrey Dahmer, then they should definitely be killed. The kinds of things they did were unbelievably horrible. They made people literally suffer. Why shouldn't they?Do you agree? I think a lot of you who are saying,"NO" would be thinking differently if it were your child that was molested,or one of your family members were tortured and killed. When the Judge says life, sometimes,it doesn't necessarily mean life.Sometimes, these fools get out of prison a few years later.I think they need to go to straight to hell immediately. Manuel L,how dare you compare stealing food to Bloody Murder. That isn't one in the same. It's nowhere near being similar. The death penalty is quite appropriate for those who have proved themselves incapable of living in human society by committing egregious crimes. The death penalty absolutely guarantees that society will never be victimized by them again. Why the hell wouldn't a person want vengeance on the person that murdered their loved ones, tortured them,or raped them? That's a part of what the death penalty is,including justice for the people.
If upon death God gave you a second life to live over again and gave you only these three options (pick one)? A.) You'd come back as Ghandi, but you would live and die as a Hindu B.) You'd come back as a Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy type, but you will find Jesus the in the last month of your life and die as a Christian. or C.) None of the above and you will be sent straight to Hell for all eternity. There is no choice D. Any choice D defaults to choice C. Vishal: I remember reading that. But I do think it is safe to say in certain people's eyes he was far more Hindu than a "real" Christian.
It smells like something died in my fridge. What do you think it is? There's a mysterious smell of death and pestilence coming from my fridge. Before I enter an exploratory mission, would anybody care to hazard a guess as to what is causing this hideous stench? Closest to the right answer (or the actual right answer) gets the points. HINT: I am NOT Jeffrey Dahmer. Or Patrick Bateman.
Harsher Sentences for Similar Crimes? I'm interested to know why Jeffrey Dahmer was simply sentenced to life in prison, but Ted Bundy was sentenced to death. I've noticed this in other cases. Sometimes, at least to me, the crimes seem relatively the same and yet one might get death and the other only life. What decides such sentences?
When Someone Says That They Like "Bad Boys", How Bad Are We Talking About? There are people who fall for the hot bad guy in the movies and that cool guy with the leather jacket who walks around the neighborhood who we all love to hate. Then there are the groupies of the monsters of society, murderers and rapists, such as the women who drooled over serial killers Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer and followed them into court and wrote them love letters. I believe actually one woman married Richard Ramierez "The Night Stalker" after he was condemned to death. What type of appeal to people have over people who commit horrible, violent crimes? These are the "real bad boys" of society. Some find them fascinating, some feel sorry for them, some find them sexually attractive; there are people who really love these kind of people. I think it actually is one of the definitions of human sexual attraction but the exact name of it skips my mind. Does anyone have any input? Why do some fall for really bad people?
If sins forgiven by God are forgotten by God, then if I go to Heaven will I too forget the sins of others? Someone here just asked the question "what will you say to Jeffrey Dahmer when you meet him in Heaven?" This question, of course, touches of the matter that was widely reported about Jeffrey Dahmer being born again and finding Christ shortly before his death. If the stories of this are true - and many close to Dahmer say they are - then I have no doubt that Dahmer is in Heaven. I have often heard that if you truly repent, then God actually "forgets your sins". Your sins are buried beneath the deepest sea and totally washed away. So my question is... If I meet the notorious mass murder Jeffrey Dahmer in Heaven, will I recall that he committed many heinous murders? Or will I have no record of that in my new, purely spiritual life that does not have a physical body as I know it, that does not continue the marriage or family connection from this life, and that lasts forever?
Are you Military lovers proud of this? Will you feel shame over this? Hundreds of Americans have lost their minds and used guns to cause multiple deaths. One thing unites almost all of them: military training. Mr. Muhammad served in the Persian Gulf war, as did Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber. Both received weapons training and basic military training designed to psychologically condition soldiers to kill. They are far from alone. Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer received military training in Texas and Alabama. David Berkowitz, the "Son of Sam" killer, was an army veteran. Charles Whitman, who killed 16 people and injured 31 in a 1961 sniper-shooting rampage from the top of a tower in Austin, Tex., had just been discharged from the U.S. Marines. Arthur Shawcross, who killed 12 people, was a Vietnam veteran. So this is what the great USA makes when they send young men into the military. What a great record. This is puke poor and you know it.

Dahmer’s only excuse for not killing Adam was that he had no access to a vehicle, but the people who the reporter gathered claim that the stores’ vehicles were easily accessible for employees to use whenever they wanted to after the stores were closed and that some of the vehicles had ended up missing. -Dahmer had convictions for sexual assault on a thirteen-year-old and lewd acts in front of two twelve-year-olds. But then he claimed he was not interested in boys that were Adam’s age. -Dahmer killed a fourteen-year-old boy who was the brother of a child that Dahmer sexually assaulted. Why are Republicans becoming GAY? (not in the sexual sense of the word)? I mean republicans use to be manly people that wanted tougher laws and the death penalty ... Now they are just a bunch of wussies crying to stop stem cell research and end abortions ... Who cares about that gay crap ... I say kill em all and let god sort them out! Have you seen child molesters and Jeffrey Dahmer ... most lives are not valuable !!! FROM A FRUSTRATED REPUBLICAN (turned Libertarian)
Church of Christ, Baptism, and Forgiveness...? I read this evening that Jeffrey Dahmer converted to Christianity, namely the Church of Christ, and was baptised in the prison before he was killed by fellow inmates. According to the Church of Christ, will he be forgiven and did he go to heaven upon his death? The article I read stated that he expressed repentance in a way that the minister (or pastor...) believed his sincerity and performed a full immersion baptism. If church of christ theology states he will go to hell... then why would they baptize him?

Would you really....? ....want to hang around for all eternity with someone worse than Jeffrey Dahmer or Adolf Hitler -- a deity who tortures untold billions of people, not just to death, but forever and ever? Would you really be happy or comfortable in heaven, knowing that those uncountable multitudes -- perhaps even some of your friends and loved ones -- will suffer torment without end, for no other reason than His whim? And if you WOULD be able to enjoy yourself -- if you're really THAT lacking in compassion or empathy for your fellow human beings -- do you really think you're going to make it into heaven? Some people here talk about the biblegod offering humanity "a way out of Hell", trying to make it sound like Hell is something beyond his control; it shouldn't take an atheist to remind them that he CREATED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! And to those who say that it was made to punish the renegade angels, but let me ask you: I originally bought my oven to bake cookies, but would it absolve me of blame if I then roast my child in that oven when he fails to love me and do what I say?
Why do I find a serial killer attractive? I'm facinated by some of them and very interested to hear what they have to say and how their minds work. But, what I find sickening is that I find myself....wow he's really good looking. Jeffrey Dahmer was such a doll. Ed Kemper, Ted Bundy, Richard Ramirez. There are several of them that I find attractive. Does anyone else do this? What is wrong with me? Why would I think someone that has caused so much pain and death is attractive in anyway at all??? Also, I would love to have contact in letters with some of them. I have the address for Charles Manson lol. But, I'm scared to use even a po box because what if they were to escape and then wait around at the post office until I visited the box?? lol. Ted Bundy escaped twice so you never know! Not for a relationship, just for a friendly chat and to pry into their brains. I'm obsessed with them. I spend my days and evenings studying them. I'm beginning to worry that this is an unhealthy addiction. Or is it just an interest??
how do i get over my fear after reading about a serial killer? Last weel i was watching Tyra and a serial killer was mentioned. His named was Jeffrey Dahmer. I was curious about what he had done so I googled him. After reading a few brief biographies about him, I became petrified. I am unusually sensitive to things like this. I worry more than I know I should. Anyway, I can't stop thinking about this story which is true and scares me half to death. I know that the chances of this happening to me or my family are slim to none, but I am still scared. While thinking about my friends and family I get scary images in my head about them being killed and it's interrupting my life. It's hard to fall asleep or think about happy things. I was watching a scary movie with my boyfriend last weekend and burst into tears because I started thinking about this. If ANYBODY can help me, i would be so thankful. I've tried looking up anything and can't find anything besides going for therapy. I don't have that kind of money. Please help, and thank you so much. I'm not afraid of being killed. That's what's weird. I just can't stop thinking about it. I get scary images in my head about people I love being killed. My main problem is how to forget about that i read that. How to stop thinking about it, really.
Is it still murder if you eat what you kill? God invented the food chain, at least fictionally, right? And the food chain includes killing for survival. Killing includes pain and death for the animals or people killed. But it's not murder as long as it's for food, right? So, let's say a tiger kills a person and eats him. That's an act of God, right? It's not murder, though, because it was for food. So... is Jeffrey Dahmer still considered a murderer? He could have eaten something else, of course... but so could you eat something else besides hamburgers. Don't try to define your way out of the question please. I'm not talking about any laws except what the Bible says.
I think some of you people would be thinking differently if it were one of your family members tortured and killed,or somebody molested your child. Blue, don't sit there and pretend that you wouldn't want revenge and justice against the person that killed,molested,and/or tortured your loved one/ones.If they don't kill them, sometimes, they wind up getting out and doing it again. Why should they have their lives, when obviously they don't respect human life to begin with? Your remarks and comments are an insult to all the Victims who have suffered horrendously.
