Do you believe that Jeffrey Dahmer is likely to be in heaven?
Fundamental Christian belief: Jeffrey Dahmer, the Notorious serial killer who raped, murdered and had eaten many many young men, is in heaven. Whereas many of his non-christian victims are in hell. Now you should know why religion cracks me up. And don't try to support this belief, I know why you believe it and I'm only comparing it to what the vast majority of us call common sense.

- He's a Christian, so he's in Heaven. That's why I'm glad I'm going to Hell.
- Hey...Jeff may have been a decent guy with an uncontrollable urge to kill. Don't make him out to be the bad guy in all this!
- He's a V.I.P. in Satan's kitchen.
- Funny but christians say Gandhi is not in heaven for not believing in Jesus. That one kills me.
- no he has got to be in hell!!!!
- How can you say that all of religion is cracked up when only a very small percentage of religious people believe that?
- As ive always said...with that lot in heaven, who the heck wants to be in that club...so not me....
- Some say he converted and changed his ways while he was in prison so who knows.
- Right next to Hitler - another famous christian.
- Welll for one how do you know his victims are in hell? Secondly altho if he sincerely accepted Christ he did not go to hell. But heaven is also about rewards so you can bet that he is in the nosebleed seats and not in the orchestra seats!
- go to the rainbow club in brum and you will see guys eating men everywhere it's pretty commonplace now
- i really hope he is in hell---can u imanige being in heaven with the person who murder u
- There is no heaven. Not for him. Not for you. Therefor, it really shouldn't matter what those people believe. They're wrong from the start.
- In the immortal words of Will Smith: "Oh ha-ell naw!!!" And who said that Dahmer's victims were non-christian?
- Kinda give a whole lot more creedance to the Catholic belief in Purgatory (where you have to work off and make repentance for your sins before you can enter heaven) doesn't it. My guess Jeff if he is even given a chance will spend several million years toiling away in purgatory. Nor do we attempt to say his victims are in hell because some were non-Christian. Nor do we think Ghandi is in hell. It is not a Fundamental (Basic and NEcessary) Christian belief but the belief of a few radicals who erronously gave themselves the title fundamentalists EDIT:Frank Mein Kampf was Hitler's propaganda NOT his actual beliefs. I suggest you read a REAL biography of Hitler based on accounts of his inner circle. You are falling for his propaganda as much as Germany. I would suggest a Adolph Hitler by John Toland, Hitler's Table Talk by Weidenfeld & Nicholson. Simple fact Hitler was whatever it suited him to be at that point Christian, Hero, Atheist, Mass Murderer. "Important leaders of the National Socialist party would have liked to meet this situation [church influence] by complete extirpation of Christianity and the substitution of a purely racial religion," said an OSS report in July 1945 “You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn’t we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?"Richard Steigmann-Gall, The Holy Reich In 1941, Hitler praised an anti-Christian tract from 362CE, Julian's Against the Galileans, saying "I really hadn't known how clearly a man like Julian had judged Christians and Christianity, one must read this..." He was reported to say that religion should die on its own accord. Irving, David John Cawdell. 1978. The war path: Hitler's Germany, 1933-1939.
- that's good, cz i'm in hell for sure away from him
- Its not for me to decide whether he's in heaven or not. Rumor has it that Mr. Dahmer repented while in prison and got saved. If so, that's great for him and just brings more glory to God because we see that God is willing to save even the worst of mankind. God doesn't play favorites. That's a great thing. God extended that same grace to Mr. Dahmer's victims. If they decided to reject God's offer (and I have no idea whether they did or not), then they will have to live with that decision for all of eternity. Also, if God is willing to save a person such as Jeffrey Dahmer, He's just as willing to save you. Think about it. You don't deserve any less than Jeffrey Dahmer, do you?
- Christian or not, to suggest that someone who broke one of the most important of a god's covenant with men has been granted eternal happiness without having ANY punishmentis ludicrous. My own personal beliefs do not matter, but I know that if there is a heaven, he's not there. But even so, I believe he's suffering somehow. Whether from decomposition, being reincarnated into a hellish life, or being tortured in hell, he's gotten what was coming to him.
- Likely, because of what he did, no. Possibly, yes. I have heard that he became a Christian. If this is true, he is forgiven, because God (contrary to popular opinion on R&S) loved him and sent his Son to die for him. I honestly hope I see him in heaven. It would be great to see that people we consider the personification of evil do give their lives to God and find true peace. Our "common sense" is often vindictive and vengeful, unlike God's grace.
- God can forgive him, that's why He's God and I'm not
- someday, david berkowitz will join him there. (son of sam)
- Jeffrey is in the Grave.....Here On earth.
- No. He's dead and in the grave.
- No he's rotting in the grave where we will all be some time.
