Man. what that guy did was as disgusting as anything I've ever heard of! Terence Moore - the highly respected journalist of the Atlanta Constitution- Journal said that blacks are going to support Vick even if he comes out and admits what he has done! He says he has NEVER seen anything like it! I guess we know who the REAL racists in America are!!!! ( It would be like white people supporting Dahmer because he is white - that is some sick stuff right there!) Just so you know - Terence Moore is black, and he wants his people to wake up and smell the coffee! I would eat a dog in a heartbeat if I had to survive, but I would never TORTURE one! He should do LOTS of time - and he will! Vick is Sick - you are the man! We need to hold Vick supporters just as accoutable as Vick himself! Little's was an accident, but still should have got more punishment. Two wrongs don't make a right! Wild dogs DON'T fight each other, and they damned sure don't TORTURE each other! Vick is not as bad as Dahmer, but not as far away as you would think. I had to take an extreme position to pull the Vick lovers away from thinking he an okay guy and should miss a few games and be right back in the NFL. He needs to do at least a couple of years and permanent ban from NFL.

No. Sorry to say it, actually no, not sorry. Dogs aren't people. Has Vick killed and maimed any people? You can't compare the two. Not say what he did is excusable, but you can't compare those two types of violence.
Ya it's pretty messed up and all but sadly there's a lot of people that are worse, they just dont get the media coverage because they aren't NFL quarterbacks.

It strikes me as hypocritical of you PETA-philes that you would condone inhumane action on humans over animals. I think your feelings are racism in disguise. How ironic. Before I go on, I have rescued animals, taken in some, don't hunt or fish, nor do I condone torture to animals. But there is a line to be drawn. I'm on the side where sane people regard animals as animals. They don't have the right to vote, aren't issued a social security number, can't own or operate a motor vehicle, and in many cases are my dinner of choice. Would I eat a dog? If my life depended on it, yes. If my life is normal, no. But I will bet on horses and dogs. I would much rather run over a squirrel if my only other choice is to hit a tree or another vehicle. You can dress your poodle up in biker gear, build it a little dog house complete with cable TV and air-conditioning. You can name it Thurston Howell IV but you can never convince me that it should be treated as an equal. What Michael Vick is allegedly involved with isn't a crime against humanity. Cruel as it may seem, even if it is in a controlled environment, the dogs involved are vicious by nature. He is not accused of arranging bouts between Pit Bulls and Toy Poodles. I have a friend that owns two Pitt Bulls. I give them their room and their respect. But they are very aggressive animals. I told my friend that every time I am over his house that I have my camping dagger with me. And if I'm attacked by any of his dogs, they are going to bleed too. They are what they are. Aggressive and vicious. It ain't like he made them the way they are. If convicted, he won't do time and he shouldn't. He'll pay a fine and resume his career, as he should. If you don't like him, then don't watch him. It ain't like he's your neighbor, and no humans were injured in his alleged activity.

Betting on dog fighting is bad but I don't think he was running the slaughter house like everyone is accusing him of. …but even if he did that still isn't the same as eating human beings you idiot.

You are right Stonewall. I really don't know what's going on here. It's really bizarre. The Vick supporters are out in droves. MOST are using the tactic, "they don't want to talk about it anymore, there's better things to discuss" Thank goodness for sports radio, they are knocking the supporters down left and right, making them all look like the fools that they are. Here is a link I think you will find interesting. A WHITE man in South Carolina is serving 30 years for dogfighting. It will help your argument to prove this isn't a racial issue. Vick has problems that may/may not be alarm signals toward the Dahmer way of life. Irregardless, what he is guilty of carries some pretty heavy duty punishment - just pay the guy what he has earned ( about 6 yrs i understand)>

If Vick did this which all the evidence is pointing towards than he needs to be punished to the furthest extent of the law. But to state that he is the sickest americn since Jeffery Dahmer is over the top there have been serial killers and even soldiers who have taken hostages stripped them down killed PEOPLE not animals. As sick as it is vick is not worse than the American soldiers who were beating up iraqi prisoners in hostage camps. and going around taking nude pictures of them and torturing hostages. these were PEOPLE once again not animals. I know I will get thumbs down for this because it sounds unpatriotic but VIck killed animals not human beings. Stonewall and scott please don't pretend to understand the psychology behind a serial killer. It is true that many serial kilers had animal torture earlier in their lives before commiting the acts. that being said a grown man fighting dogs is not the same as taking a dog as a child and beating it over the head with a brick. most serial killers tourture animals as children. Vick doesn't fit a profile of a serial killer. He isn't a loner, and he fights dogs not torture them 2 completely different things.
Comparing Vick to Jeffrey Dahmer, sorry, I don't think so! Dahmer killed and dismembered PEOPLE! Vick just made a few dogs fight. Not even remotely a fair comparison in my opinion. As far as who the sickest American is since Dahmer, I would probably give that title to the lady who drowned all 5 of her kids in her bathtub a few years ago. I can't remember her name, but I don't think Michael Vick has anything on her!

No offense man, but you're sounding like one of those fanatic animal rights ppl...not that their is anything wrong with that, but some ppl almost seem to view an animal's life above or equal to a human's...Yes what Vick did was horrible, that's not even a question, but you're comparing a man who killed dogs to a person who brutally killed like 17 people... Vick is a horrible person for doing the acts of killing dogs, torturing them etc...but there is no way you can compare this man to a serial killer...
No, he is not..... its gross yes but animal fighting is not anything new.....Its been going on for hundreds of years.........In early california days people would pit mountain lions against bears....I believe in early alaska days they would fight dogs.....Im trying to think of the movie that delves into that......Call of the Wild? Go even futher back and look what the Romans did to the Christians making them "fight" lions....... they fight chickens all the time at a city i used to live in......They seemed to always be busting people.......And there have always been whipsers of dog fighting too......I knew of a guy that got caught once for training a dog to fight.......Also a dog was found tied to a bale of a hay and almost drowning in a pond....Luckily somebody happened by and saved the dog....but it was a pit and it was rumoured to be a fighting dog........its everywhere its just not a southern country type thing...This is happening in Ca...... its not that uncommon but its not acceptable either.... Vick isn't the only one involved in the "sport" of dogfighting..........There are alot of people that are involved in dog fighting......Its an age old society problem thats Vick it taking all the heat for...........Its disappointing because ive been a fan of Vick...I love QBs that can run as well as he does..............And while this is bad i think the frenzy is ridiculous......Tons of innocent babies are murdered every year by women who don't accept the consequenes of their actions.....Its murder but its "acceptable".

Not even close. There are a lot of people in America and across the world that are doing or have done the exact same thing as Vick. I'm not sure I can say the same for a serial killer who is also a cannibal.
